Based on New Line Cinema’s Elf, The Elf Experience is an all-new immersive holiday adventure from Warner Bros. Discovery and Fairview Portals. Step into Papa Elf’s storybook and journey through the Candy Cane Forest, the Sea of Swirly Twirly Gumdrops, Santa’s Workshop and the North Pole before making your way back to New York City and Gimbels. It is the perfect holiday outing for all ages.

The Elf Experience is expertly created by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and Fairview Portals, founded by filmmaker Jon Favreau, with artists who worked on the original film alongside new ones inspired by it.

The Elf Experience is at HERO, located at 19 W 49th Street on the Rink Level at Rockefeller Center in midtown Manhattan, between 49th and 50th Street and 5th and 6th Avenues. The quickest route to find HERO is to take the elevator from the street level (on 49th Street between 5th and 6th Ave) down to the rink level. Once at the Rink Level, you can find HERO opposite the rink, directly below the Channel Gardens. You can also take the B, D, F, or M subway train directly to the 47-50th Street Rockefeller Center station and follow the signs for HERO.

The Elf Experience will be open from November 14 to January 18. It takes about 40 minutes to walk through the entire experience.

All ages are welcome. Children ages 2 and under can enter for free and do not need a separate ticket. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your indicated time slot.

We will do our best to accommodate any late guests based on capacity. For guests 15 minutes late or more, we will try to rebook you for the next available time slot, pending availability, but immediate entry upon late arrival is not guaranteed.

HERO is an accessible venue. If someone in your party has epilepsy, sensory processing disorders, claustrophobia, vertigo, or mobility or physical limitations please let us know and we will do what we can to make your visit as safe as possible. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. E-Tickets will be sent to the email address of all guests, and can be presented on your phone or printed at home for access. A processing fee is added to all tickets, add-ons, or bundles purchased. All sales are final, no refunds.

General Admission tickets include full access to the experience. Food, beverages, and merchandise can be purchased onsite by all ticket buyers. VIP bundles and upgrades are also available.

The VIP Bundle and Upgrade include the following items: • Anytime VIP Entry • Dedicated expedited queue • Exclusive VIP Elf item, valued at up to $30 • 1 Printed Photo Exclusive VIP item subject to availability.

All VIP ticketholders can line up in the dedicated, expedited VIP queue. Upon check-in, they will be given instructions on how to redeem their exclusive item.

Yes, you can make changes to your order here for a $5 fee. You can add tickets or upgrade your order. Refunds are not permitted during order changes.

Yes, Seniors ages 65 and up can purchase our discounted General Admission Senior tickets. All Senior ticketholders are required to show valid ID during check-in; if unable to provide valid ID, guests will need to purchase a full-price ticket for entry.

Yes, students 18+ can purchase discounted General Admission Student tickets with a valid Student ID. One Student ticket per Student ID. Yes, we offer a 15% discount to all active military members, first responders, and veterans. Email tickets@hero-nyc.com a photo of your ID and you will be sent a discount code to use during checkout. If unable to provide valid ID, guests will need to purchase a full-price ticket for entry.

Weapons, drugs and vapes are prohibited. HERO is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.

HERO offers a coat check for a $3 fee.

Suitcases, strollers, and other large items are not permitted in the experience. You can check these items upon arrival.

No outside food or drinks are allowed into the experience. Food and beverages are available onsite for an additional cost.

Yes, we encourage our guests to create memories during The Elf Experience and capture those moments while inside the space.

Merchandise is only available inside The Elf Experience.
